Kulin is joining Versett!

I am happy to announce that Versett has acquired Kulin: a performance marketing agency for DTC brands. Kulin provides Versett with a new key product offering—performance marketing—that will enable growth opportunities globally and provide Versett’s customers with a new product growth capability. In addition, Versett will use the strong Kulin name and positioning when selling growth work to ecommerce, retail, and SaaS brands.

At Versett, we are on a mission to unlock human ambition. This means adopting new tools, processes, platforms, and skills to respond to the ever-changing market. Kulin, along with Versett, shares similar approaches to client work, while providing an entirely new service offering—this makes Kulin an exciting addition for Versett and our clients. Based in Edmonton, Kulin is a small but mighty team with members spread across Canada. They work with ecommerce, retail, and SaaS companies to help scale revenue and grow client brands. The Kulin team builds and executes digital strategies doing everything from foundational brand creative, through to paid social ads, Google Ads, and email and SMS marketing campaigns.

Cam Service, one of Kulin’s co-founders, was part of the founding team at Versett. Cam departed in 2018 and went on to launch several successful businesses: most recently Kulin in 2020. Having Cam and the Kulin team re-join Versett is a welcome and exciting next step.

We’re always looking for ways to better serve our clients and are committed to delivering great business outcomes. What better way to support that than to add performance marketing into the mix. I am thrilled to welcome the incredible talent and partnership opportunities that Versett and Kulin together can provide. Not only will we build industry-leading apps and products, but we can now ensure they’re launched effectively in the market.

Versett has teamed up and acquired two amazing companies: Domain7 and Playground Inc. Domain7 is a privately-held, human-centered digital transformation firm based in Vancouver, BC. Playground is a design studio working with businesses large and small to imagine and execute their flagship digital experiences.
