Versett Acquires Domain7 and Playground Inc.

I am glad to announce that Versett has teamed up and acquired two amazing companies: Domain7 and Playground Inc. Domain7 is a privately-held, human-centered digital transformation firm based in Vancouver, BC. Playground is a design studio working with businesses large and small to imagine and execute their flagship digital experiences. The Domain7 and Playground teams will be fully integrated with Versett to further extend our world-leading design and technology capabilities.

That's the what, but it's not the why—that goes a few layers deeper: at Versett we are on a mission to unlock human ambition. Change is accelerating. Organizations require new tools, processes, and platforms to respond to that change. Over the years we have been big admirers of the teams at Domain7 and Playground and their award-winning work in this space. Both firms, along with Versett, share a lot of similar philosophies on how to approach participation, design thinking, and comprehensive problem-solving in the creation of digital products, services, and teams.

I am thrilled to welcome the incredible talent and partnership opportunities and to increase our deep expertise in service design, organizational design, strategy, education, facilitation, research, and technology. Now together, we will be able to further identify, design, and scale new digital capabilities for our clients. With Domain7 & Playground’s specialized expertise, Versett will now extend to and intentionally scale into higher education, public service, retail, financial services, and government sectors alongside our current markets.
